1. How do I clean my Welly bottle?

As with all bottles, we recommend cleaning your Welly bottle often to prevent bacteria build up. Handwash only with hot soapy water and a brush and scrub thoroughly. To get a deeper clean we recommend Bottle Bright Cleaning Tablets or a mixture of hot water, soap and vinegar. 

2. What can I use my Welly bottle for?

Welly bottles keep any beverage cold for 12 hours or hot for 8 hours. Whether you want your coffee or tea to stay hot long into the day or your ice water to stay cold throughout a long hike, we've got you covered!

Carbonated beverages can also be used, but be careful not to shake your bottle as it will cause a build up of pressure, which can alter the double-walled vacuum insulation.

3. Will my Welly bottle sweat?

Welly's double-walled vacuum insulation keeps the outside of the bottle condensation free.

4. Can I put my Welly bottle in the refrigerator/freezer/microwave?

No. This can damage the pressure in the double-walled vacuum insulation.

5. What is the Welly bottle made of?

Welly bottles are made of premium 18/8 food-grade stainless steel, sustainably harvested bamboo, BPA-free plastic (under cap) and silicone.

6. Can the bamboo get wet?

Our bamboo is 100% natural. We therefore ask that you take care of your Welly bottle. The bamboo can get wet but we ask that you try to minimize contact with water. Do not submerge your bottle underwater as this can affect the vacuum insulation.

7. Where is Welly bottle made?

Our bottles are responsibly made in China. We have visited our bottle and filter suppliers and their manufacturing facilities to be sure they are up to our quality assurance standards.

We don't actually have a return/exchange policy for purchases made at wellybottle.com. We handle returns on a case-by-case basis with the ultimate objective of satisfying you, the customer. We stand behind our products and do our best to take care of our customers. Our philosophy is to deal with you fairly and reasonably; we hope you will be fair and reasonable with us as well.
